Job purpose:

The HR/admin manager is responsible for maintaining and enhancing the hospitals'  Human Resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and human resources policies, programs, and practices.

Summary of Job Description:

1. Maintains the work structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions.
2. Maintains organization of staff by establishing a recruiting, testing, and interviewing program; counseling managers on candidate selection; conducting and analyzing exit interviews; recommending changes.
3. Prepares employees for assignments by establishing and conducting orientation and training programs.
4. Maintains a pay plan by conducting periodic pay surveys; scheduling and conducting job evaluations; preparing pay budgets; monitoring and scheduling individual pay actions; recommending, planning, and implementing pay structure revisions.
5. Ensures planning, monitoring, and appraisal of employee work results by training managers to coach and discipline employees; scheduling management conferences with employees; hearing and resolving employee grievances; counseling employees and supervisors.
6. Effectively manages and runs general administration of Rayfield Medical Center


Education & Experience: Minimum BSc in any related field & Minimum 5 -7 years’ relevant experience

Skills, Knowledge and Characteristics:
• Strong effective communicator in writing, business presentations and in interpersonal communication.
• Highly developed, demonstrated teamwork skills.
• Demonstrates a high degree of confidentiality and unusual common sense.
• Able to direct the efforts of a team of diverse human resources professionals.
• Familiarity and skill with the tools of the trade in human resources including Microsoft Office suite of products, file management, and benefits administration.
• Experience in organization development and change management.
• Experience working in a hospital environment is a plus.
