Job Requirement & Qualification:

Our client in the downstream sector seeks to fill the role of Business Development Executive/Manager who will be responsible for building market position by locating, developing, defining, negotiating, and closing business relationships.

1. Contributing towards the development of the business portfolio
    new customers, clients as well as the opening of new markets in
    given area parameters.

2. Carrying out the market analysis to understand the latest
    drivers and trends thereby recommending innovative techno-
    commercial business solutions to customers.

3. Deftly negotiating and securing favourable contracts and
    agreements with preferred customers (locally) for the expansion
    of business.

4. Spearheading entire business operational plans and
    procedures, product development, customer service standards
    and delivery strategies in a given area parameters

5. Managing all trade account receivables as well as liaising on a
    regular basis with Account Receivable Manager and Financial
    Maintaining the track for daily invoicing vs. target revenue to
    assess linearity and identifying potential upsides or issues vs.
    monthly sales target Controller.

6. Adroitly ensuring adherence to company’s standards on quality
    and quantity and implementation of the company’s Environment,
    Health and Safety standards

7. And any other task as shall be given to you by your line

• /HND in Marketing or any other relevant discipline
• Industrial sales work experience ranging from 5-10 years in Oil &
   Gas, Lubricants,
• Bitumen, Steel, Cement, Construction, Chemicals, Tyres, and
• Membership of relevant professional bodies is a plus.
• 50-70 percent travel required.
• Ability to work under pressure and less supervision.
• Excellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills
• Good report writing and strong IT skills
• Excellent planning, organizing and time management skills
• Ability to work on own initiative and as a team player.
• Professional approach, coupled with strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in, and adapt to a rapidly changing environment


Between N2.1m – N3.5m (Gross annual)
